Fishers has 7 Little Free Libraries in Fishers Parks! Find them at:
Thanks to the hard work of a group of 2nd grade students at Cumberland Road Elementary, a new Little Free Library has been installed at Harrison Thompson Park, 13573 Conner Knoll Parkway. The students, led by teacher Mrs. Rent and librarian Mrs. Hicks, targeted increasing access to books in our community as their Global Goals project last fall.
The group received a grant through the Hamilton Southeastern Schools foundation to purchase 3 Little Free Libraries to place in our community. They also held a fundraiser through our book fair, and students were able to pick out and purchase books to place in the Little Free Libraries.
Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization that inspires a love of reading, builds community, and sparks creativity by fostering neighborhood book exchanges around the world.
