This site features a 20-acre lake and a 300 foot beach made from Indiana sand.

Saxony Lake & Beach will not open in 2023 as we open the new Geist Waterfront Park beach this summer.

Creek Stomping

Looking for a place to creek stomp? Get your feet wet at these Fishers Parks:

Because it is a state-regulated nature preserve, creek stomping at Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve is not allowed. Please help us protect this park by staying out of the creek.

Fishing Ponds

Drop in a line at one of the city’s many fishing ponds #AroundFishers. An Indiana fishing license is required for ages 18+ except on Indiana DNR Free Fishing Days.

All fishing at Fishers Parks is catch and release. We recommend tamping down the barbs on your hooks to make hook release easier and less harmful to fish.
