Fall Festival at the AgriPark 

Saturday, October 17, 2020

Join Fishers Parks for the inaugural Fall Festival at the new Fishers AgriPark on Saturday, October 17 from 1-5 p.m. The festival will feature a scarecrow trail, pumpkin painting, a gourd slingshot, live music, food trucks, and more family fun! Masks must be worn at all times during the event and guests are expected to adhere to social distancing guidelines and stay home if they are sick or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Advance registration is required  

Volunteers are needed to help with set up, assist attendees and tear down.

Boo Bash

Saturday, October 31 | 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Nickel Plate District Amphitheater

Children of all ages are invited to a socially-distant Boo Bash on Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater. This year, we'll turn the NPD AMP into a bewitching trick or treat trail with over 50 vendors for safe trick or treating, fang-tastic giveaways, and more. 

This year's event includes: Safe, socially distanced trick or treating outdoors from over 50 local business and City of Fishers department booths, teal Pumpkin Project booths providing non-food items for children with food allergies and special needs and the annual digital costume contest.

Volunteers will assist with set-up, working entrances to greet people, and helping to maintain COVID guidelines. Volunteers working both shifts (8:30 – 10:45 am & 10:45 – 1:00 pm) will receive a free meal. Please feel free to sign up for a first and second shift.

Fishers AgriPark Volunteer Opportunities

Mondays: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Wednesdays: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Thursdays: 2 - 7 p.m.
Saturdays: 9 - 1 p.m.

The Fishers AgriPark  is one of the nation’s largest urban farms and pays homage to Fishers’ agricultural roots, while inspiring future generations of farmers, scientists, agronomists, robotics engineers, chefs, and more. The 33-acre park opened to the public September 1, 2020.  

The AgriPark includes an urban farm growing fresh fruits and vegetables and producing eggs. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available to the public. We are currently seeking volunteers for the following AgriPark events: 

  1. AgriPark Greeters: Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 – 1, Thursdays from 5 – 7 pm and Saturdays from 9 – 1.  Our AgriPark Greeters will welcome visitors, answer questions and assist with tasks around the farm and programming barn.  Greeters must be outgoing and willing to interact with the public in a friendly, knowledgeable and kind manner.  Volunteers for this opportunities who are under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult with an active volunteer application on file.  
  2. AgriPark Wednesday and Thursday Helpers: Wednesdays anytime between 11 – 2 and Thursdays anytime between 2 – 5.  Our AgriPark Wednesday and Thursday Helpers will assist the Parks Team with a variety of tasks depending on the current needs of the AgriPark.  Duties can range from planting, harvesting, weeding to tending to livestock and more.
